Ski Jumping
Have you seen ski jumping on TV? It is so cool. It may seems to be easy, just slide and jump. But it requires a lot of accuracy, steadiness and control. Basically there are five stpes: crouch down with arms back to the sides of your body and then take off, quickly stretch legs and use your feet to push off and launch your body up and forward over the ski tips, before landing keep your body forward over the skis with the skis parallel and tipped up slightly to get more lift, then land in the telemark position with one ski in front of the other and knees flexed to absorb the impact of hitting the snow, at last straighten your body and come to a stop.
