Skis
Skis are usually narrower at the waist to help you turn when you put pressure on the edge, and have wider tips and tails. The most popular ski type is called super-sidecut skis and some professional would like hourglass.
For beginners, the typical length of skis is about the distance between the shoulder and the floor. For experienced skiers, you can use longer skis. Usually, the longer the skis are, the faster. But it rule is not true. For the hourglass skis, the shorter the skis are, the faster.
